I need to interior design my house!
Comments (11)You are asking all the right questions to ensure you enjoy the process and that will make your new home reflect your personalities in a stylish, unique way. Getting professional advise will not only help you understand and achieve exactly what you hope and dream of, but it can also save you money. Hiring a designer will help you envision the concept through 3D models, sketches, moodboard etc, will help you avoid costly mistakes and also can save you money as we can offer you a discount of many items that would cost more on the high street. We also source many items full of unique character that are only available to designers and not easily available to the public. We are based in the North West, but I travel down to London on a regular basis. I am next in London end of September, and offer a free initial consultation where I see the property and what is best for you and your house. From there we quote for the services that would be suitable for your needs, whether that is a consultation service, design concept or the full concept to completion service. If I can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to get in touch, even if just for a chat to talk about your concerns....See MoreInterior/design ideas for my lounge
Comments (4)I agree that greens would be lovely and restful in the room. However before choosing paint, I would find art and maybe mirrors for the walls, then it will be easier to choose a paint colour against which to display them. You have lots of wall space and it's a great opportunity to inject personality and soul into the room. Spend time browsing everywhere from interiors stores to vintage shops for pieces that appeal to you. Art doesn't need to be expensive, even movie or music posters look great in the right frame. You could also have photos printed onto canvasses- if you have any great landscape or nature shots from holiday for example. Try to find pieces that will work together but don't necessarily 'match'. If you have a swatch of the wallpaper, you might bring that with you when shopping for art. Something else that would change the feel of the room would be to replace the TV stand and the end table with chunky wooden ones. A bookcase or some floating shelves would also add to the warmth of the room, making it feel more lived in. And I would pull the couch away from the wall a little, this actually makes a room feel bigger. Enjoy!...See Moreinterior design and CAD help
Comments (8)Thinking about the space, I would always recommend living in it for a while first. A few weeks is usually enough to then understand how you use the space - which rooms you like being in and so on. This naturally starts to give you an idea when it comes to layout. For our layout packages, we would then start looking at how you use the space. This tells you what storage you need, what size bed you would likely need in the space or what other furniture is required. From here we then look at how light falls in a room - ensuring areas you use most or for dedicated tasks, have good natural light. The areas you use least, or have tall storage in, can then go into the darker areas....See Morecan someone help me with design interior of my flat?
