I had this roof re shingled by a handyman 5 years ago but did such a poor job I want to re shingle the whole house. I am dealing with a licensed contractor this time with a BBB is A plus. They are using Cambridge AR shingles so we need to pick a color and we think dual brown will go but what about what about other colours. Maybe driftwood? We tried roof viewer but hard to get true colours off a computer.

Hi Caro, I have attached two images of wall paper that I think you compliment your kitchen. The green and blues in these wallpapers would harmonise with the existing titles and highlight the height of the room. From your ideas book it seems you like repeat patterns, both of these styles suggest a 60s feel whilst remaining contemporary. As you can see in the second photograph, the pattern and colours sit very well with the dark shiny worktop, similar to the one you mention putting in at a later date. The first wallpaper is affordable and ethically sourced. Let me know what you think

Well further to my earlier comments I cannot get my husband to agree on a neutral scheme for the tiles on our utility room and kitchens (units all light grey with a dark grey island) and white sparkle quartz worktops. I was looking at Chevrons from the Equipe Range that come in Dark Grey/Light Grey/Black/Griege and some pastels. Hubby prefers colour, green or blues and I want neurtals so can add pops of colour in the blinds and curtains in the areas adjoining the kitchen (dining/snug sitting room), also dining chairs, rug etc. It makes my head go crazy trying to visualise coloured wall tiles in all of this (perhaps apart from the splash back around the cooker area). Has anyone done this successfully with coloured tiles (I think patterns too much). I thought the chevrons with a different colour grout (dark grey tile/white grout etc) looked good, as below. Colours in rest of the house because we have a lot of oak will be teals, blues with a few other pops of bright colours. Thanks in advance!

What colour are the walls? Stripey carpet isn’t for everyone, but you can look at carpets with a very subtle stripe in them, or if you are unsure then a plain carpet would perhaps be a better option for you. I love carpet runners with black edging but they tend to suit period properties rather than modern.
