You need a builder

I hope it goes well. If you use a paper with an iridescent finish it will add some light and movement to the space. A vinyl finish will make it more hardwearing and easier to keep clean.

A planting border in front of the garage will help to anchor the house to the site. It will need to be about 1000mm deep to allow for the rain shadow and foundations as nothing will grow in the back 300mm or so. Go for evergreen structure rather than climbers which will grow over the window and under the tiles. Depending on which way the bed faces, Hydrangea and yew cones work well together. Keep it simple 2 or three plants repeated will create formality for the front of the house. Alternatively if you don't want to dig up the block paving, planters would work, but more maintenance.
