Hi Houzzers,
I've recently purchased a grade 2 listed stone cottage in the Wye Valley. Being a rental previously, it's mostly magnolia everywhere with some retro wallpaper in places (not my vibe). I'm doing it up room by room, but want to create a fairly neutral and consistent wall pallette throughout, and plan to provide colours in each room with accents and furnishings. The floors are board upstairs and a creamy stone tile downstairs. Before I start painting, What would you reccomend as a good, country, cottage colour for the walls? Plain old brilliant white seems rather stark, but all the off-whites just look dirty to me! I'll consider all suggestions :) Help Please!
Thanks, Lorna
