How much diy can you manage? I needed something similar but very wide which was impossible to find ready made, so I bought three ikea hemnes and hacked them to look exactly as l wanted them. I sanded them lightly to remove the very light varnish and painted them, stencilled, distressed and waxed and they are perfect. I did change the knobs too. Each one took a long morning to do but that's it.
Thank you Tezz4. The Ikea ones are not wide enough. The Trendy cabinet is lovely it's the type of cabinet I am looking for but don't really like the handles. Dam there's always a glitch ! Thank you.
Try designing a cabinet online at jali.co.uk and they will send it to you packed flat for you to home assemble ! It is a very good way of getting a cabinet ( or shelves etc) just the right size ! Have fun !
Ah, it was an image from pin interest, I'd be scouring eBay for years tho before finding something similar. Tried it myself when I wanted an antique haberdashery cabinet cheap...went with ikea billy bookcases in the end. One day!
This is at my son's place so l dont have easily available pics but l found one l took before they were all ready so you can see the work l did. If you go for it buy the white version and the job will be easier. I could show you via Houzz.
Tezz 4's posts have reminded me that Ikea Liatorp would be worth looking at as you can join units together but the way the cornice and plinth is designed makes it look like one unit. This picture is the white version (3 joined units). They also sell a really nice mid grey version. No painting required! The inside back of the unit is a fairly substantial tongue and groove finish.
