I never thought about mirrors as plinths, sounds cool. However I'll stick to what Ive got... no plinths, lit with LED's, and run a feather duster under it once a month... my particular kitchen gives me peace of mind knowing there is good air flow and I spot leaks immediately. Mirror acrylic is available in big sheets, and can be cut with a jigsaw, and I suppose the clips to attach them to the legs can be glued on. If you do go this route, I warn you must get the correct glue for the mirror acryllic backing, having personal experience of using the wrong stuff, it looked fine for months, then reacted badly with the mirror backing and destroyed my project... I even wrote to the glue company about it (think was Unibond), but they sent me a tube of the right stuff free of charge so can go see what it is if you need. Would love to see photos if you get these done.

A lot of our clients feel that white is a 'safer' and cleaner option in comparison to other colours. We do encourage that you add some soft colour into your space as sometimes a fully white kitchen can look to clinical or sparse.

My initial reaction to the photos was that the kitchen units' colour somehow didn't quite 'gel' in the room and I was rather hoping colourhappy would come in and be able to cast her professional eye over it. I still really like the granite and I agree that at least changing the lower units will work. Perhaps the upper units need changing too? J Pleass, would you consider doing that?

You need to make the most of a corner situation. When planning a corner have a 900 x 900 L shaped carcase as opposed to a straight carcase. By doing this you will not have to kneel to access the corner as both doors will open to allow you full and easy access. You won’t need a corner mechanism in one. Some of them are very expensive and waste essential space. Integral bins IMO are expensive. Here is what I mean with the 900L.
