Hi Daniel, The cabinets in the top photo are custom-made from Crystal Cabinetry in the US: shown is a veneer of lyptus wood over a slab substrate. Wall hung vanity units are available from Ikea and some Italian cabinetry lines. Pine cabinetry may be had, but it is a softer wood than oak or maple (and others). Maple or alder may be an alternative as each can take a light stain well. Do you have some pictures of the space you're trying to design--is it new construction or renovation? Folks might suggest some more good options for you upon seeing some context. I hope this helps. Thanks, Scott

I'd highly recommend going to B&Q and collecting a lot of the colour cards from the Valspar range. Dulux paint although wonderful, is horrific in it's inability to match any of the colour cards. Take the cards home, put them on the wall and choose a shade that you like. Then get the paint mixed. It's pointless trying to name shades, you have to have the colour cards on the wall to make an educated selection.

When hunting for my own bathroom I found a company called Parker Howley who make gorgeous vanities and will do bespoke versions too. Hi, I am looking for a company that sell/make bathroom vanity units with a work surface to match a marble travertine floor. The splash back will be fired earth marrakech (the background perfectly matches the existing marble floor). And the vanity unit can be left as a base as i intend to paint in farrow and ball railings. Any advice please?
