Revamp paving slabs

We've taken up these paving slabs and would like to reuse them but they're looking a bit unloved. Any creative ideas how I could revamp them?

Can't see enough detail really, maybe a pic of just one? I'd say jet wash them and see how they come up.

Perhaps you could stencil a kind of Moroccan tile-effect pattern on them? Add an external paint as an undercoat and then stencil a variety of patterns. A few painted pallets as chairs/tables...could be sweet?!

Thank you so much guys for your responses, I was really upset yesterday! But then I went out to have another look at the slabs (and managed to move two out of the way to see the third one) and that one was less grey and more... rust coloured? So I think it is a case of the top two were extra grey. In the online pictures the colour seems vastly buff with sections of grey, but the top two slabs were all grey :/ I'm sure I can return them (would need to find the receipt) but what stops me is the builder is coming on Monday (and I just want this patio already - you know how fickle the sunshine is here haha and I feel like I've wasted so much sun already :D ) but also because the york gold colour (that I think I want) I'd also be buying sight unseen so...... ugh! Lol However, I'm coming around to this colour :) and you're both right, a nice grey can be really nice! I need to stop second guessing all the decisions I spent months making, and triple checking and just let it all progress now, I do belive it's those super last min nerves getting to me! I will breath :)

Try pressure washing them first to see it you like them cleaned up. If you do want to change the look you can acid etch them or stain them- there are lots of how to videos online but basically you need to clean the slabs with a degreaser, apply your stain with a roller (or acid with a spray and 8-24 hours later a neutralizer), and then seal the finished product. There are options at the DIY store or online- personally I would be looking to buy a combined stain and sealer designed for concrete slabs.

I think with such a small garden I would create a patio courtyard garden rather than a lawn. Tiny lawns are rarely successful, especially when you have a dog. I got rid of my lawn as the dogs had turned it into a pee ridden mess! I laid Indian sandstone instead. Plus points are your fencing looks great as does your shed. I would remove the washing line and get a retractable one, so you can pull out when in use and it pops back into its casing when not in use. So much tidier! Im thinking extend the patio, but leave borders of 1 metre all around for planting. If you don’t do this it has too much of a car park look. You won’t need raised beds unless you particularly want them. I can suggest plants if you wish. Here’s some ideas, the first pic is some of my garden.

Power wash to remove any debris or growth, perhaps use a concrete stain to colour them, use a separator, such as grass, treated wood or pebbles to create a pattern and re-lay the slabs. Use the edging to create a raised flower bed along the back or sides, and you might think about some adding a few sections of trellis to bring some vertical height to the walls and break-up the walls. An evergreen type of climber would provide colour and fullness both summer and winter. A few shaped pyramid junipers might do that as well, but they do attract mosquitos.

Cut them in half if they're square or into 3 if they're oblong & relay in a herringbone pattern

Are some coloured pink? If so I would be disinclined to power wash them unless you like that colour in patio slabs. I like slabs spaced out with either grass or concrete in a darker colour between them. It looks quite professional smart.
