Paint Colour...Help!

We are finally at the stage of getting some paint on the walls after a lengthy renovation, but with so many decisions to make at this stage of the build, I have barely given any thought to paint colours. I would like a fairly strong grey for our bedroom, but not a cold grey as the room is north facing. It does have a very large bay window so somehow manages to get quite a lot of good light. I don't want to go as dark as railings or downpipe for example, I bought a few testers and thought maybe Manor House Grey, but I'm not sure if I see brown in it?...I do think I'm a bit colour blind sometimes! I have to decide today as the painter is here tomorrow, and I'm starting to lose my nerve and thinking to just go for Cornforth white, which seems to work well in most spaces, but I had really envisaged a stronger colour to create a more rich cosy feel. The room will be greys and whites with lots of textures, and some dashes of blush/dusty pink for the accent. Any suggestions for a great mid tone grey paint? Any advice or suggestions will be very welcome....I'm stuck! ;-)
