Hi Petra Have seen your wish list image and think I can visualise something! I think the layout with the hob on the wall is better anyway for the size you have to play with. Am a little uncertain about units on legs or floating units even - as stated before, they get v dusty underneath - I will post an image for you below - but in my opinion, this only works if you can stand well back from the units to appreciate the fact that they are are on legs or floating, otherwise you don't get the impact. I would definitely go for light units and a light worktop or else it will look v dark - because you have a lovely hardwood floor, I would possibly go for a Quartz/granite top ( budget permitting!) and possibly have the breakfast bar in a different material - possibly wood - so that you are mixing different materials. I think you have quite an exciting project on the go! - Use tiles to your advantage to visually elongate the walls and I would go for some very funky bar stools to compliment. Hi there. I think your kitchen looks fab but agree the render maybe creating a slighting different feeling of the space. I create 3D renders for most of my clients and offer a package creating 3D visuals to show clients what their space will look like once done and this one definitely doesn't give a very homely feel to the space with the colour and lighting shown. I have attached a few images to show you the sort of 3D images we use to give you a feel for the space as a whole. I agree with Jonathan above that the sink would be better nearer the dining table - another plus up this is when you enter with shopping your island will be where you head and with that moved you will have a better layout of space for that. Hiya, The quality of Howdens and Benchmark are dubious in my opinion but it would get fiddly for you to source bits like doors from other companies although tops are easier. For quality on those price points, have a look at online companies like Units Online or DIY kitchens. They can be a little daunting as there is little support (hence the lower prices) but that's where a designer like myself or others on Houzz can help with hand holding and advising you through the process to get a really good quality kitchen for your budget. I offer 10 hours of design support for £250 which works perfectly with buying a kitchen online but others can help too, you need only ask 😀 good luck Emily x
