Hi there! I like the tiles! May be your temptation to paint the whole place white is a good idea. I think Vanilla White from Dulux will look nice and bright up the space. Your can use cobalt carpet for staircase and you have plenty of possibilities to be original with art or pictures and accessories.

Hi guys, my first time here. I've seen some pretty nice looking floor lamps, but I don't know if they'll match my room/plum carpet colour. I also don't know where exactly to place it. Do I buy one and place it on the right corner of the TV? Or do I buy two and place them in the corners behind the sofa? All advice is much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi there, difficult to comment from a "cultural" point of view - assuming there are no particular cultural constraints, then I think parquet can work in most places, though I personally would never use it in a bathroom and would urge caution in a kitchen, primarily because of the higher risk of standing water. If you love the look of real wood and don't want the harshness of tiles in the kitchen or bathroom, then perhaps you could also consider a product such as Karndean palioclic. While these are synthetic products, they are specifically designed for wet environments, and some of the wood effect finishes are really effective - I have many customers who don't believe me when I tell them it is not real wood! Hi. I'm not keen on the one warm or dark feature wall, it's bringing the wall in. Having said that I do quite like the Craig and rose option if it's lifted with metallics, greenery etc. I do like The Hague blue option which looks great against the leather, wood etc
