Hi you two, you've been so very helpful. I've ordered a few GP & J samples so I can't wait to get them! You've been great with advise so much so I recommended Houzz on Facebook, not your names specifically incase you didn't want that but you've certainly helped me. Don't think I'll go for an aqua wallpaper I think it might be a bit much as I'd like to paper all the walls up to pic rail, then paint above, but I love the herons - unusual, modern yet in keeping. Sometimes I wish we didn't have a period property as there is a lot of work to do. We moved in in March and it's an uphill struggle but I know it will be worth it in the end! I'm currently covered in wallpaper & paint specks.

Here we we demonstrated a classic design feature . This process was so interesting from start to finish . After exploring different methods of finish , we stuck by burning the material , after that we then our own unique touch to it . The slats were cut into 1600mm lengths , we staggered them horizontally and spaced each one at 8mm . The linear effect creates its own vanishing point one glanced down , which Really adds depth into the narrow stair space . More photos soon .

Thanks ... This was my thinking Coralina ... as it’s a long wall and the radiator will be moved to under the window. If I keep the fireplace wall white ... I can then maybe put a big mirror over the fire and/or selection of framed prints etc to the right . Maybe ....

Paint them all Hague Blue. I don’t get the whole painting a feature wall thing - the walls and colour are not the feature, they’re just a backdrop to everything else in the room. Our north facing bedroom is Hague Blue and still feels bright and airy despite the lack of direct sun - white bedding, light flooring and bright accessories
