Entire modern large apartment needs a refurb. I am looking into what can be retained, to keep spending down. For a small family/ guest bathroom, I will replace sanitary ware in the same position. I hate the wall and floor tiles. They certainly cannot both stay as they clash. The walls have an Imperial equivalent of a 20x20cm matt beige/ tan tile with white grouting. I dislike it but at least the colour and matt finish are quite neutral. The floor has an Indian green marble tile, which I am told is very expensive, but I loathe. Removing tiles is noisy and disruptive as well as expensive. Should I try a honed finish on the floor tiles (a bit less disruptive) and choose a paint and back painted glass option for the walls that would better match the green? Busy marble is not my natural style, but sometimes one achieves a surprising success by work around feature you wouldn't choose. If this option, suggestions for colours appreciated. Looking at the Little Green colour chart - or any other. Or should I live with the beige/ tan wall tiles and get rid of the floor? Or get rid of both? My taste is quite minimalist and calming, with touches of accents.

We have used these tiles to cover our wetroom bathroom (all walls and floors in the shower area). But where the vanity unit and sink will be, there are no tiles - just a ceiling to floor mirror, and the walls are to be painted. To keep the hotel/spa look we wanted to keep the bathroom slightly darker and not go for a lighter wall colour. Just wondering whether it would look sleeker and larger with your Hex grey on the floor and your feature wall. It simplifies the look cutting down to just two different tiles. The hex grey will still look nice with the slate tray and the black shower surround. I'm not sure if it was an error, but you mention hex grey on the shower wall and the links you give are for black, sand and white. This is the grey Cement grey that can go on the floor and the wall, with the white everywhere else.

I love sage green. I’ve just had fascias replaced in our bathroom in this colour (well, when I say ‘just had’ I mean the doors are sitting there waiting to be fitted 😆). I’ve opted for green knobs on mine, but it’s a bathroom not a kitchen. Granted I had to do some thinking about whether to go for black, stainless steel or green. Do you actually need wall tiles or could you just go with an upstand to match the worktops? What colour worktops have you opted for? Regarding floor tiles it’s a minefield of choice out there. All depends on personal choice.
