Hello Natalie Sounds as though your little girl has very good taste! I think you're sensible choosing white for furniture etc and accessorizing, it will mean it's a lot easier to change if she wants to in a few years. I'd do the following in her room: Buy some bedding with pale pink & other soft colours - something like these (from Debenhams) http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_306002145006 http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_306002144963_-1 I'd then get some cushions that tone with the bedding, I believe Primark does some that would work nicely. I think replacing the handles is a really good idea - maybe something like these? The Etsy shop that sells these does some really cool designs: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/whitewashedshop?ref=l2-shopheader-name  As far as window coverings go, I personally would just get white slatted blinds, but if you want something with a bit more wow, some pale pink velvet-effect curtains would look lovely in the room. You could also accessorize with some art in a more graphic black & white style to break up the pink. Something similar to these, from Cult Furniture might work - tip is to use three so it makes enough of a statement and seems balanced. Finally, for the storage I'd get some of those copper wire baskets like these: Hope this helps you a bit and good luck with your project!

Was reading back over earlier comments and it's funny because most of you guys like either the black or copper. LOL. Now no-one likes the black :o( I know most of you like the bronze - but I really don't. Sorry! Antique brass is nice but can't see to find any of the knobs I like in that tone as they only do the bronze or brushed brass/silver/matt black. Thought I was doing well to narrow the choice down but now you have all thrown me, LOL. trouble makers ;o) The reason I wanted black is because I didn't want handles at all. Thought this would be a discreet way of making them look less obvious. The shaker style looks beautiful and for me, better without handles but that wasn't an option for this style of unit I chose so I have to have them. I think if I don't go for black then I might have to go for silver (brushed or burnished if I can find any). Something I didn't want - but actually it will tie in with the rest of the appliances and then not clash with whatever splash-back I choose?

I think a dark browny bronze is a really good colour to go with cashmere. and could also work with gold, chrome is a bit too blue. If you keep the gold handles ( I think they look really nice) then I wouldn't duplicate it too much. I would add wooden bar stools. My sister's kitchen is the same colour, she has used lots of bronze, dark browny violets and wood.

the painting is going to be done before wallpaper. copper metallic paint is going to go in alcoves or whole walls. (apart from feature wall). Nothings been started yet. (In 3 weeks we're starting the decorating)
