I am not actually that keen on the idea at all, I think things have to really mean something to you or be really really interesting, like people you met or knew or family members.. ... In that case I could have a fair few! I'm a bit of a renaissance art fan too... Do love an old old canvas portrait - although I have not acquired any... What I do have..... is a signed portrait of Peter Falk...I am a huge huge huge fan of Columbo!!! Love him! He and the episodes.. were such genius and I think a big part, reason why I love interiors... Architecture in LA is magnificent!! : ))

Hello Kim, What about removing those conservatories and creating an open summer house or outside pavilion see image below... Really like the windows to the far right of the building.. These would compliment a bifold or full size floor to ceiling window panes. They could even work to lower into the flooring so weather can be considered, thus the house opens to the external to become seamless. .. For continuity, do the same with the rear extension. Of course this would require quite a large budget.. For an idea of 1 style.. as external pavilion seating area without glass for something on less cost.... Or add floor to ceiling windows to allow for use in all weather, they could also work on a garage door style.. pulley system.. see other image...... : ))

Ball Green is a lighter olive maybe try that, or just go with the savage ground walls and add colour with accessories. Or there's always wallpaper for the chimney breast. I had a very similar to F&B Olive in my east facing living room (Crown Fashion for walls Bespoke) I loved it but come the afternoon it could feel dark. However you're only planning to have it on the chimney breast rather the entire wall as I did, so it could well be fine and you could add a mirror to break it up. Does it have to be F&B colours? Dulux Timeless Classics have a chalky finish and Sophisticated Sage is lovely - more of a soft olive than a sage if you ask me :) and there are some lovely warm neutrals in that range too. You could always download the Dulux visualiser app to give you an idea.

If you're using soil that doesn't drain well, add perlite or coarse sand to the mixture. To mix your own soil for prayer plants, use: 1 part perlite or coarse sand 1 part garden soil 1 part peat or humus 1 pinch of lime dust To improve drainage, add rocks or gravel to the bottom of your pot and be sure that the pot has a drainage hole. Fertilizer During the growing season (spring through fall), prayer plants should be fed every two weeks. Use a high quality water-soluble houseplant food. Repotting You shouldn't need to re-pot your prayer plant often. However, when it becomes root-bound in its pot, it will grow much slower. Hope it helps !! If you re-pot, choose a pot that is 1-2" wider than the existing pot. Simply remove it from the current pot and put it in the new pot with a bit of extra soil mix. Water well.
