Neolith kitchen

Today workers started the installation of my neolith kitchen surface and the majority is chipped/not well cut on the edges. Is this normal?? Would appreciate your views!

I prefer Ariel with the vein, as the clean white will bend with the white cabinets with the veins complimenting the dark wood cabinets. But go with the one that you went 'OOH' first, you will find that if you love something, then all your 'loves' compliment each other! Plus its too expensive not to.... We are choosing Silestone Orion which is a mottled white-grey with plenty of veining to hide the dirt! Plus shop around as the Silestone quote we got from a local Gold Approved was nearly half that of other local Gold Approved Silestone suppliers.... Good luck!

As Johnathan says as long as it's all polished out it should be ok. Perhaps ask them to ensure they're going to do this. Seems a lot of chips though.

Sensa is a natural stone so it could have unpredictable veining. However if you love it your worktop fabricator will probably let you inspect the slab before they cut it. Neolith is a sintered stone so much harder and more predictable. It will have a plain edge unless you pay extra for a dropped edge. Personally I think that if you are considering Neolith you should be considering Mont Blanc which is a similar pattern to the Sensa you showed. And in my opinion these products look more natural and expensive if you choose a satin finish rather than a glossy one.
