Hi- just an fyi, I'm American and we Americans do NOT use real wood for weatherboarding!!! 20-30 years ago ppl used vinyl but that had issues, now they use a very strong resin board. No rotting or painting.

Hi sawsankhan, I love the fish tank by the way, I hope that you will keep it when you do your room-makeover as fish are incredibly calming ! Here at Go Modern we have a great range of furniture suitable for children and young adults. I see that your daughter loves dark wood, gold & brown, with this in mind I have a few suggestions which all combine to create a beautiful and extremely stylish bedroom that will take her from 12 to 20 and beyond ! Firstly a smart new bed and I suggest the Bonaldo Billo Teenage Bed which is shown here in golden brown http://www.gomodern.co.uk/store/bonaldo-billo-teenagers-bed.html but which can also be upholstered in a huge range of colours. When she has friends over and needs extra seating in her room, how about these stunning Italian made Hollywood Poufs which are designed by Gino Carrollo. Available in a superb array of removable elastic fabric covers, as well as limited edition patterned fabrics - http://www.gomodern.co.uk/store/bonaldo-hollywood_pouf.html And to complete the look – how about a beautiful full length mirror – this one from Jesse, one of Italy's best known contemporary furniture brands, is perfect as the side strip can be in either walnut, oak or lacquered in your choice from 28 different colours http://www.gomodern.co.uk/store/jesse-strip-vertical-mirror.html I do hope that this is helpful, however, if you have any questions please contact our friendly, knowledgeable team on 020 7731 9540. Ironing. I don't. As others have mentioned, I also take clothes straight out of the tumble dryer and fold nicely. Since I finished with the city job, 10 yrs ago, am now resident in snowy N Yorkshire and run a small cheese making business I am lucky that I no longer have to wear shirts or ultra smart clothes for work, just a polo shirt, jeans and jumper. Actually no longer own an iron. Dusting too. Hate it. Also, my vacuum cleaner is afraid of heights so seldom makes it upstairs. Am beginning to think I am getting slovenly in my old age.

Hi Stefka, The bathroom is coming along nicely. Is the bath panel a match to the sink base? What material is the floor, vinyl or wood? If it's wood and you're not happy with the colour, have you considered either bleaching it, then colour washing it to a similar colour to the tiles around the bath or staining it darker? (Going darker will make the bathroom seem smaller.) To keep the textures and colours as simple as possible, paint the plaster walls a colour that is 2-3 shades lighter than the square wall tiles. A different colour will chop the room up more. A big mirror over the sink ledge, wall to wall, will make a huge difference to the feel of the room. It will reflect light all around and visually double the space. Colour can be added through towels and accessories like special bottles for oils and lotions. Your tiles look to be a pinky beige so look at neutrals or pale turquoise. Dunelm Mill has a good selection http://www.dunelm.com/product/so-soft-zero-twist-towels-1000016871 or http://www.dunelm.com/product/egyptian-cotton-bathroom-collection-b01010 If you are overlooked and want privacy throughout the day and night, why not consider waterproof plantation shutters. They will give you light if you angle the louvres and total privacy at night. http://www.purelyshutters.co.uk/window-shutters/plantation-shutters/waterproof Because your window is in the shower area, fabric will rot and mildew very easily. Plastic shutters can be wiped down with ammonia and water in the course of cleaning the bathroom and allow access to the window for cleaning and ventilation.
