loft space storage idea

hi, this is an awkward storage space which I would like to utilise in the best way. I thought that bespoke cupboards/drawers would be best but still not sure how to do it to be able to access it best. thanks for any ideas

Loft conversion storage dilemma
Comments (2)I have a few option depending on the space you have to offer that I have made for other customers, pic one is a chest of drawers built between the trusses, pic two is a full set of wardrobes with rails, shelving and drawers built in, and pic three is a pair of big storage drawers built in between trusses again. Comments (4)Yeah, some sort of stairs in the bottom right is my best guess too. The box is a bit of worktop with a freezer and cat litter tray underneath (these could be moved for a good enough reason). I'm not clear on what kind of stairs I'm allowed to have under building regs, I think a permanent ladder isn't allowed but there are staircases that are practically ladders that might fit in. Drawers and 'jacket' wardrobes either end (one out of shot). Sycamore with bog oak detail.The lower drawers are deeper than the top one extending right back to the angle they are 750mm (2'6") full extension runners so the whole space is utilised and items in the drawer are fully accessible.
8 years agoWe have recently converted our loft and have a similar space. The door that you can see is loft space. I’m also interested in any ideas because we’re not sure what to do with the space either.
