Comments (1)Hi Edna, The costing can vary massively dependant upon your material spec and design considerations. I would suggest trying out our Online StairBuilder Tool. Using this tool you are able to design your staircase to suit your needs and will provide an instant quote. This should you give you the information that you need, however if you need anything more please feel free to give us a call on 01782 832555 and one of our advisors would be happy to assist....See MorePine ceiling in the lounge

Comments (7)Hi Doz, RE THE CHAIR: I really like the chair, if it were me I would re upholster. It's a little retro but thats a good thing. Try shopping around for quotes re upholstery to see if the price is fair. If you really want to breath life into the sofa strip the woodwork and re stain black. Re holster the grey cushions. Add some really nice large cushions (Patterns but stick to one colour) RE CEILING I must confess I normally remove these or over clad. I have tried painting but they always look oppressive even with a coat of paint. Here is a hall I did, the before was painted boards, the after was with the ceiling re plastered. BEFORE = PAINTED T&G AFTER = T&G REMOVED AND CEILING RE PLASTERED Hope that helps, Regards, Martin www.angel-martin.com www.3dinteriorillustration.co.uk...See MoreLounge Layout, Design and Furnishings
Comments (35)Hi, Reviving a bit of an old post here with some more thoughts. I agree with everyone that the sofa is probably best looking onto the window but having given it a try it makes the TV pretty much not visible unfortunately. I can't think of anywhere that I could place the TV that would give a good angle for the sofa in that position. (Other than pulling it out from the wall and angling it, which looked pretty poor when I tried it) Open to suggestions though. I may just have to move the sofa back a little to create slightly more room for chairs. I think if I put it right up against the wall the space will possibly be too big for conversation. In the end I've actually grown to like the eames chair and chesterfield combo so will just add one more chair now. either on the same side as the current chair or two chairs facing each other at different sides of the sofa. :) @Emily - The dinning table is further away from the kitchen in the window thats true. The alternative I think would be to shift everything up towards the bay window more and put the dinning table at the other end of the room. I think that might look a little odd since the fireplace is in the centre?...See More- 7 years ago
