I found as my bathroom is pretty small that a cupboard under the sink or a cupboard mounted on the wall took up barely any space and gave me the storage I needed x

There are plenty of clever tactics to keep things in order whilst looking good in the bathroom. What sort of storage would you go for a wall mounted storage cabinet, a vanity unit or other? let us know!

Hi Laura. It looks a nice bathroom. Re colour, you could add art over the bath. I'm not sure of your taste in art but have found the one in the first pic and you could then add blush pink towels (Cox and Cox). I'd also add a plant or flowers on the window sill. Storage is a little tricky as I assume the sink is new so you won't want to change that! You could add doors over the loo as per the last pic and maybe a shelf in each (I know it defeats the purpose of the decorative niches a little!). Alternatively get a couple of woven baskets and use them in the niches to disguise toiletries a little. I'm not sure if there is space but you could also put a basket on the floor between the bath and shower, cover the top of the toiletries with rolled towels or whatever if you want to hide them. It wouldn't be my preferred option but you could also look at a wall hung corner cabinet but access might be a bit tricky!

If any of the walls are stud walls, you can put a shallow cupboard inside the wall, this gives just enough depth for shampoo bottles and similar (the door generally has to sit on top of the wall to give enough depth). Next to or above the towel rail might work for this. If you google “between the studs” or “cupboard recessed into wall” you will find some images. If you are ever re tiling there is probably space that could be turned into storage under the sink and even to the right of the sink behind the false wall of the shower. But it looks like it’s just been tiled so doubt you want to mess with it now!
