The darker one looks best I feel. It makes a statement against the lighter wall, whilst having the small wooden legs that blend with the floor. They are very different, the lighter one being more traditional and the darker a more modern style. Which style do you think is accurate to your home?

Choose the sofa you like regardless of the wall colour, it doesn't cost much to repaint a wall. I would go for a light or mid tone, the dark one looks too heavy in my opinion.

I would go for the dark one,even could be a bit dark due to the grey colour wall ,but for me the dark ones means always elegance.

I would go for a lighter coloured sofa but that’s really just my personal choice. I like rooms to be light an airy and anytime I’ve bought a dark sofa. I love it for a month and then hate it And aleays go back to light ones. Next have some lovely grey sofas in just now and the colour is perfect.

If you have animals and children darker is more practical but if not the lighter would work great with a dark floor.

I like the darker one. The light one jars against the paint colour and would get lost in the room. Although I agree that chaise end sofas can be a pain for visitors, I think you should choose it for the people who live in your house 24/7, so if someone likes to relax on a chaise; go for it.

Thanks all. Very mixed opinions. I guess it then comes down to personal choice. I tend to like lighter colours but I do have animals and also fancied darker this time

I’m going to get two sofas so the chaise won't be an issue thankfully .
