Hi, It looks like you already have a dark wood feature mirror in that room so have you thought about having matching shelves in the same colour? Chunky floating ones would look nice to hold towels on etc. If you wanted to go even further, then you could have the wall built out so that the shelving was recessed into the wall with little lights above each shelf - but of course it's a lot more work & money!

Daisy, that was my experience before and my builder didn’t have a trade account so we didn’t get a Howden kitchen, which is what I wanted. Magnet did a great job and my builder did have an account with them. I have yet to contact a joiner. Chris, I might visit all the kitchen people and see clearance stuff they might have. I really wanted some pictures of real London houses with a pantry in small kitchen like yours. Not the American dream kitchen or in a Surrey mansion. Thank you for all your ideas and advice.
