Induction hob in front the kitchen window
Comments (2)Depends on the appliance and how high up the window is and wether it opens or is a non opening one as to wether it's advisable or not ! I recently designed a Bora induction extraction hob in front of a window - but only after I'd cleared it with the Bora area manager ! And also made the client made aware that window coverings needed to not reach anywhere near the hob for safety reasons ... so do your homework first with the appliance manufacturer and be mindful of anything that could become a fire risk !...See MoreBORA induction hob with down draft
Comments (258)Latest advice appreciated on the best big induction downdraught hobs please (Berbel, Bora, Gaggenau, Siemens, Bosch or others). We want best steam and fat clearance rates, quietest motors, easy-clean (unsure re self-clean, ducted or recirulated air). Berbel's FaceBook page features lots of customer complaints regarding after-sales service and spare parts, but some seem due to Covid delays which we think is unavoidable; another mentions guests sitting "in a haze" from the recirculated air and obviously nobody wants that! We need to order very soon but definitely don't want ceiling extraction. Many thanks for prompt replies!...See MoreBORA CLASSIC
Comments (3)Thanks Oneplan, yes we sell Bora. I think we sell more Bora than any other Bora dealer in the UK. Bora pricing for one offs is pretty much retail price across all Bora dealers, there are no distributors with access to Bora. The only way to really get a deal on a Bora would be to purchase the whole kitchen from a Bora dealer then you will get hopefully a good deal on everything. OP please give me a call if you need anything else....See MoreBora Induction Hob - Recessed
Comments (17)Luke, are you still here? if so a few questions. I have just had my PUXA hob fitted flush in a Quartz worktop which is white. As in the pics above, there are very tiny 'chips' in the cut edge of the quartz. Would a black sealant not accentuate these, and would white not be preferable, as at least the glass edge of the hob is perfectly straight so the sealant would be less obvious? Also is this OTTO stuff Ok to use on Quarrtz as this is not natural? Thanks...See MoreSonia
