What to do with extra large window ledge in bathroom
Comments (7)I'm a big fan of using a single slab of marble/stone rather than tiling window ledges in bathroom's. Partly because it adds an extra luxe element but also because there's no grout to inevitably get discoloured or go mouldy. You could then add a pretty wooden tray on top with some bathroom essentials or plants like suggested above....See More1980's Bathroom to Elegant Accessible Spa Bathroom

Comments (22)Front hallway- I say save your money leave it up. Cost of removal is minor but you will likely have to move radiators and electrics and make good plasterwork and coving- I say protect another £1500 profit. Present the larger back reception as a living room and present the front reception as the dining room. Given that the bathroom is likely to go upstairs make the downstairs bathroom into a room to access the garden- I would present the kitchen as a kitchen/breakfast room with doors to see the garden as being able to see from the front door to the back garden should pay dividend....See MoreAdding a bathroom upstairs

I think our options at the moment are getting the stairs put in the other way round from the ground floor which would allow us to add a decent size bathroom on the first floor but I know this would be more costly or use our wardrobe space in bedroom 2 to make a little en-suite....See More- 7 years ago
