Hello Ocean, Well I get a lot of really good responses and interestingly I received an email yesterday from BUILD magazine saying they have spotted me and my home on here and selected me to be the "UK" Interior designer of their BUILD'S DESIGN TOP 10 in their August issue! I know it's advertising and I may not be able to see my way to it, due to it's being a tiered package accolade! Nonetheless.... WOO!! : ))

I would try and tile above the upstand behind the sink, I have the same arrangement and thought I didnt need tiles. I now have a lot of marks between the upstand and the window from washing vegetables and saucepans etc and now need to repaint after 5 months. I love the large format tile the colours are amazing

Difficult one as it is personal choice but I would opt for a different colour similar to anthracite to make a contrast.
