Hi Claire, as Litecraft have already pointed out it does depend on what you are going to have in the rest of your kitchen but for me I would go with the Chrome option as think it will make your lights stand out more. If you want to go for something different to chrome there is also a satin nickel option too like this one which isn't as shiny as the chrome options like the one below. The colour temperature of the LEDs suit the finishes of the first kitchen, but the second kitchen , with wooden effects, needs a much warmer LED. A fine line when working in kitchens as the cooler the LED, the better the preparation light. Tough one!

Do you want to see the reflection of the LEDs in the roof light? I wouldn't like that as it will show up every mark on the glass every time it gets dark.
