Hello, I agree with Kluk Construction above that you would need to have some downlights, otherwise it would be rather dark. The pendant over the kitchen island would work very well and you could have the industrial exposed light bulb, provided there are some downlights installed as the pendant on its own would not provide sufficient light. I don't know what you think of this lamp? I love the art, it's really pretty. I like the wood frames they're shown in but brass would work. Just thinking heron/crane/peacock cushions could work with the ginkgo art ( I really like the first cushion with the art, it's from junique although the other 2 from dunelm pick up the gold accents) . I'd just buy 2 of these dearer ones and mix with plain, cheap ones in different textures in different shades of blue and blue green (again would try dunelm)
