I think cobblestones can be made to work, you'll need to change the steps up to the house to the same shade though.

A lot of cobblestones are very grey tones and I don't think they'll go with the brickwork or roof. So, i'd look for some with a warmer tone. All of these have good colour to them, but you get an idea of the tones, just not grey. You could always change the felt under the top window as that's very red.

Cobblestones are lovely and the ones in Maths Wife’s second picture are gorgeous. I will just say that they are really difficult to walk on, or push a buggy on etc. I live in a market town that has a cobbled square which is very attractive but hell to walk on! I’m not saying don’t have them, just to make you aware. Love your house too, what era is it?

Let in lots of light been here for 20 years it was in a bit of a state inside when we bought but completely sound house.

I think that the style of your house would work with blocks that are irregular in size and with a slightly wobbly edge such as Brett bock paving. These are good as they don't have the typical V groove that a lot of block paving has and therefore they trap less dirt. They are also nice because they have three slightly different shades of the same colour and so don't look too flat and boring. Not too urban, not too rural if you like. In terms of colour, you could blend with your house, tiles and roof, but if it were up to me I would go for a contrast. First image is of them recently laid outside my own house, second one silver trio with a red brick house, third one Brett Alpha brindle.
