Please help!
I'm struggling to decide what lights i should put in my dining room - it's east facing and quite gloomy, so i wanted something bright that would light the whole room, but could be dimmed for dinners etc. The dining table is round (120cm diameter), so i guess i would have to choose a pendant or a cluster light - or would it be acceptable to put a straight strip of 3 lights in a row above a round table?
The light fitting isn't above the centre of the table, so i thought maybe a cluster would make that less noticeable?
I've been told that a frosted white globe might be a good choice (and would suit my somewhat mid century leanings!) but was wondering what size would work best, and whether to go for single light or a cluster - it would be nice to make a bit of a funky statement, but nothing too way out! Note, the ceiling is quite low, so maximum drop would be about 55cm.
Colourwise I'm thinking white glass with maybe a copper fitting...? I've attached a few ideas below
I'd be super grateful for any ideas you may have as I'm a complete beginner.
