Comments (1)Hey smurphy54, You wouldn't happen to have a photo of the room in question would you? Depending on where the alcove is situated, it could look quite cosy and quaint, but equally you want to be able to see a clock, so it should be a practical decision too!...See MoreVERTICAL RADIATORS - HERE TO STAY OR A VERY NOW FASHION STATEMENT!
Comments (6)Hi Emmeline, how nice of you to take the time to write. This smallest en-suite in the world, has turned into such a huge project, much bigger than it is in itself. Am sure there is a mathematical phenonomen that would take an Einstein to discover to work it out. Hubby works full time, but is putting in every weekend and week night that is possible. About half way now, lavatory (Whoo Hoo, I know, sad to get super excited about that!) went in on Sunday). Still no shower (thank the lord for the main bathroom, next project!) and Dove Deodorant! If I can angle myself in with a camera, I will post before and after. Please don't expect anything on the scale or grandeur of the pic to aim for that you posted, but at least it will be clean and tidy. Have a great Tuesday!...See MoreTo statement wall or not to statement wall...
Comments (6)Everything in design is subjective but painting 'statement walls' is, I suggest, a bit dated. A soft neutral with off-white woodwork would be my choice. Light grey would work, and has been very popular over the last few years, but I've seen people tire of it quickly as it's not a great colour for the English winter. You might also consider something bolder such as F&B 'Stone blue' on all the walls. Contrast with a good off-white for the woodwork such as F&B 'Wimbourne white'. (I suggest taking some time to get the right off-white for your room as this makes a huge difference to the quality of finish. I hope this helps. It is a great room....See MoreStatement wallpaper – have you braved it?
