Would you turn your existing shower into a steam shower?
Comments (2)Emmeline, it will depend on whether your shower unit is already fully enclosed. If it is then, including the installation of steam and purchase of steam generator, you would be looking at around £3500. If it isn't then one would have to pay for the shower unit to be enclosed properly as well....See MoreWhen do you buy your christmas prezzies?

Comments (8)I give my plants a big water a couple of days before I leave plus feed if it's due and on the morning or night before I give them another drink so the water stays in the pot about 1 to 1.5 inches. I know they say that you shouldn't leave your plants sitting in water but I always do it and it works for my Orchids which I have had for about 5 years now which keep flowering all the time. I go away for about three weeks so don't want to put the onus on my neighbour who holds my key and looks after my post. I always leave them in the same place they usually sit which is away from direct sunlight. Plants always do well with the morning sun on them....See MoreI don't understand how to turn my heating off in my new house.
Comments (8)I can’t imagine having heating on just now! 🥵 If you have space in the fridge or freezer, pop your pillow or at least pillow slip in to get nice and cool before bedtime. And if you have a fan, put some ice and/or cold water in front of it so it blows cool air around the room. Then sit down and work your way through the operating instructions. If you have a hot water cylinder you can turn the boiler right off and get someone to look at it for you. Water will stay hot in the tank for a day or two if you don’t use too much....See MoreHeather Hill
