Bedroom design ideas?
Progress pictures of our bedroom. Any ideas for improving it further?

I would pull the rug a little bit more towards the foot end of the bed, add bedside tables and lights and some art above the bed.
You could also hang a picture shelf above the bed with different art prints on it, so they're easy to move around or change if you feel like it. What does the other side of the room look like?

Our 1950 terrace has 2.3m ceilings on the first floor, so when we took out the smelly old hardboard, we decided to sacrifice half of the attic to gain about 70cms height and paint the joists offwhite. I was just hanging our curtains when taking this photo, which are actually the same color as the ceiling, but sunlight makes them look yellow. So my suggestion is to add some interest to the ceiling (or a canopy bed?), as 4m is quite a lot when lying in bed. Oh, what also helps is a (slightly) darker ceiling....See More

6 years agoLovely space 😁 I have been obsessing with faux pannelled walls and think this could look great in your room. I have attached a pic for inspiration. I would swap the bedsides for slightly larger ones though.
