Comments (20)The shelf above your sofa is a key space to add some colour or some statement pieces that would bring your room to life. I assume you can see that shelf as you look down from the kitchen to the sitting room. Firstly, I would stand the books on the shelf vertically and have the plant pot by the side, this would give some more height. Have a look at our project boards for some art print ideas and you can find some bargain frames from ikea and most supermarkets, this will make that shelf space look really special. Bringing a colourful print will highlight your black and white picture that you have already. Little changes and you will make your space look amazing!...See MoreSmall urban garden spruce - ideas?
Comments (7)Ooh Kate - where to start? You have soo many options but I think first of all you need to define your style. Here's a long table https://www.worm.co.uk/products/romane-tables but it's totally different to https://www.worm.co.uk/products/bellevie-table Most of all though, you need to reduce the clutter and separate out the practical bin area from the entertaining/relaxing space. Decide if you want plants (please do) and personally I think the crazy paving needs to go. Comments (1)Hello! This room is really small and since you use it for storage/office I would not advise you to go too brave with colours as they might make the room look and feel smaller. I know it might sound dull but I@d advise you to use white all over and either have mirrored doors covering the shelves you have there or a mirrored wall right in front of the desk, that will definitely make the room look bigger. Also, use plants because they add freshness as well as colour to the room and they're very relaxing. Most people don't realise that color can be added in many different ways not only on walls...sometimes the details can't be more striking such as a white room with a mirrored wall and a really striking office chair - orange, green, etc - plants, flowers, artwork, all can used to make a room colourful. You can also buy colorful boxes and put all your dvds, cds, books in them which will make the room look tidy and neater and add style and color. See some examples below: Hope that helps! Comments (3)I love Overtly Olive. Everything in your kitchen is a bit too cream so I understand why you fancy a change. Green goes wonderfully with cream and white. Farrow & Ball greens are nice too, I’ve got Cromarty in my sitting room, after wanting to change from cream. Go for it!...See MoreDaisy
