Yes, I have looked at BHS & just taken a quick look at Wayfair too but the styles like this that they have are very traditional - this one has slightly different shaped arms which I think updates a traditional design and makes it different from any that I have found. I also like the width to the depth. As others get wider, they tend to get deeper too with 'tiers' in the design. I've seen nice ones on Achica in the past and had hoped Laura Ashley or John Lewis might come up trumps for me.

Photo didn't load for some reason the first time. I've found some similar ones by searching for 'pencil chandelier' but they're all from america :(. I know the UK is rubbish for stylish lighting but there's got to be something similar here surely?

Dear cjc, kiki, & dorset -- these are fantastic ideas. I have found several options that come close thanks to your comments. I've made a collage of some faves. (The small dark pewter pendant (x 3 over kitchen island) is the shape I am trying to co-ordinate with). It's 7 inches in diameter (looks bigger in the collage; it's not to scale) Let me know if you have a view about which 'cloche style glass pendant' option works best. Thanks again.

Oh no way! My apologies re the comment 🙈 what were the chances of that! You’re right- some are so plastic & naff looking. Thank you for the suggestions. It definitely needs to be flush. It doesn’t matter if not IP44. I want it to look glam but appropriate for the bathroom if that makes sense? Some I’ve seen look more suited to a lounge...
