Hi Jeanette, I would paint an horizontal strip over the tiles (same width as the width of your green wall more or less) with the same green color. I would also add some shelves above the sink where you could add a few (not too many) green items or green storage baskets and maybe a small kitchen garden with green herbs to use in your cooking. I would also change the cabinet handles for more stylish ones (not necessary expensive ones). And why not adding a curtain or a blind in a bold green you could shut at night? Good luck!

I thought that shed looked ideal plus you can do all sorts of things with them, add a window, add a log store to the side, and paint in any colour. Cheaper alternative for paving is gravel and like you said bark chippings, I find the crunch of gravel more satisfying to walk on tho.

I think the door of the shed attracts the eye much less than the walls of the shed. And the door is darker. I’m just pointing that out because I’ve painted a few fences, pergolas and sheds in my time and the first few times I tried light and out of desperation then went dark and have worked out dark recedes. Plus, rough wood is hard to paint and shows that it’s rough much more obviously than dark. But if you husband is a decorator I bet he can do a great job whatever you pick. :)

I think the tropical feel might work using UK hardy plants on the sunny side of your garden. Try complimenting the planting with ferns, heucheras, etc on the shady side.
