I want to renovate my kitchen and I really like the look of Naked Kitchen replacement doors. I am looking for a designer/kitchen fitter in the Hertfordshire area who has experience with them.

I’m going to be stupid here and say are you sure the doors are supposed to be the same as the board behind? Perhaps the previous owners wanted a contrast. I can’t see a specific door that shows a stain as such. In your favour the doors are cut and edge board so are the cheapest you can get. The handles are boss bar handles and again one of the cheapest handles. You could remove the handles, get new doors and add the existing handles. Cut and edged board has 100s of colour variations, so plenty of choice. You could even have a multiplex edging to give a more luxurious touch (looks like a ply timber edging and gives a nice finish).

It is UPVC door. Is it possible to open the flag hinge and slide the door of its hinge but leave the parts attached to the door and to the frame ? Do I start with the little screw on the inner part of the hinge, then take the plastic top off the hinge. then undo the flag part and then what will I find I have to do next just push the hinge up an d out? Will the door be free when I repeat with the second flag hinge. Never having done this before I am unsure as to what to expect/ I have heard that there are quite a few screws so it is not as simple as just unscrew it but thanks anyway Daisy

Hi all, I know this is a hot topic and often generates huge threads. I also know not all matt finish kitchen unit doors are made in exactly the same way. However I have had my kitchen installed for 6 months now, it has flat matt green slab doors. It is a wren kitchen. It still looks brand new, fingerprints and food grease have cleaned off so easily with this product sprayed onto a soft microfiber cloth so thought I would share my find. Couldn't find product in supermarket had to order from amazon. Also works great on my shower, induction hob and windows. I won't be using anything else from now on (except diluted fairy washing up liquid in a spray bottle to clean our quartz as recommended by the supplier)
