Chimney breast wall smaller than the headboard
Comments (26)Hi, I would love to see the end result if you do have any pictures.. My room has no real wall to put bed against.. one alcove is 100cm.. the other 120cm however it slopes where roof is, the goes into a large L or maybe even a L and another backwards L.. Did you just get the bedroom chimney breast taken out and/pr downstairs too?...See MoreHead board
Comments (1)I'd go big. A full size upholstered square on the headboard front - make it luxurious like a hotel room. Perhaps play up the textures - maybe using a suede type fabric? I think it's a lovely room already - it has "zen" appeal. Good luck with your search. On a separate note that grey is divine - could you tell me which brand / name please?...See MoreHeadboard
Comments (2)That's a delightfully uncluttered bedroom! The only thing that would possibly work is a low level headboard that matches the top of your bedside tables. Alternatively a shallow full-width shelf + removing the bedside tables would keep it looking modern yet different....See MoreBathroom tiles - full or half height?
Comments (23)Thanks so much for all your comments! I knew I wanted a full height feature wall behind the bath but the rest I just couldn't decide. I too like the look of just the shower and bath wall tiled but like @Carolina I really don't like having no tiles round the toilet, and just a couple of tiles behind the sink. So I'm leaning towards having the tiles up to half height around the rest of the bathroom, with full height in the shower and behind the bath. If I'm pleased with the way it turns out I will try to remember to post a pic of the finished room!...See MoreCarolina
