Comments (2)This is extremely large! Your problem will be that sheet materials like chipboard or mdf which would normally form the structure of the headboard come in 2440mm x 1220mm. This means you need to join it. Joining then upholstering would be unsuccessful unless you are doing it in situ. Comments (8)I can’t see from the photo if the end of the bed protrudes beyond the slope, so why don’t you turn the bed around so the head is where the end of the bed is now, then put up a shelf/cabinet pointing into the room to use as a bed head for books etc. just a thought, it could look good depending on the finish.
