I've braved white! I love it because it's so versatile allowing me to change things up whenever I fancy it. The key is to have a second set of slipcovers. I wish more companies did slipcovered sofas, pet owners like me appreciate being able to keep funky smells at bay. I would imagine parents of teenagers would too! ;)

Good afternoon Joanne! That's a lovely modern space so you've got a great base to work with. For the window treatment it could be really nice to have curtains along the whole length of that wall with the french windows. Almost like this but only on one wall: You can have one sheer curtain that lets light through and then have some heavier curtains in front which can say open during the day. This would add a softer/cozier side to the room. That will instantly add some WOW! Then for that back wall I love Isidora's first picture reference with narrow shelves to display art.
