I adore red, it's my favourite colour by far and is all over my wardrobe. I even have red glasses, it's kind of a signature thing of mine. When my partner and I recently bought our first flat we had to redecorate it all very quickly and went with quite neutral shades throughout: oak wood, white, black and grey. We then added touches of red in kitchen accessories, curtains, cushions and finally red carpet in the corridor, staircase and landing to tie it altogether. The only rooms which have no red are our 2 bathrooms as I like them better crisp and neutral.

Hello Mohammed, You're welcome ! I think the wooden chest is actually nice and I would leave that and have a mirror over it.. It's looks good but of course entirely your choice. The copper/rose gold or glass bulb light is the one to consider out of the ones you have chosen but the glass bulb would give you more light! However it's more subtle... Reason why I'd be inclined to leave the wooden chest and add something there.. Wood offers warmth and texture which is why I think it's a nice idea.. At the far end I would only suggest a mirror (if the hall is really short but it didn't appear to be) You can always try a long mirror and then try adding something like a column and a sculpture or a vase of flowers or something decorative to stand in front. If you want to add a bench seat by all means or maybe a console table would be nicer or useful - it really depends on how you use your hall. :))

Hello Ruth, Well let's just say that Brexit budget is something I'm rather good at. Well I spent £1.5K on my bathroom (not including fitting, which I wasn't happy with.. The chap in question was terrible! Had been fitting bathrooms for 15 years he said! Never seen such terrible work. I had to coach him and re- do a lot myself... This is not the first time I have come across a tradesman that works to average and bad, rather than brilliant... Back to design, I think you need to make this dramatic, a bold statement, not that it isn't but it's not quite right.. I would suggest a new pink loo seat and to paint the bath panels in the same pink for something very easy and inexpensive. This way it blends with the scheme. If you like the tiles you can do several things.. change the white for something either the same or slightly darker to really make the pink theme stand out.. Or replace them with the same colour.. This could be difficult unless there is a box of spares somewhere, you then remove the stripe altogether.. Or another idea replace the tiles altogether for something else entirely in the same colour...... I like gold/brass and it's still very much in, but for me and the candy pink, I'd have said nickel taps would be fantastic here... along with some stylish accessories.. For flooring something again that blends with the scheme so pink again.. Tiles or perhaps lino would be a good idea.. Here a few more sedate ideas than your bathroom but the focus here is perhaps what you could add with interesting decorative pieces... If your budget could stretch to it.. consider a different shower.. Rectangular or square would instantly modernise to a more pleasing aesthetic which would better sit with a newer scheme.. I also wonder what the rest of the house looks like.. there may be more exciting rooms ahead which you can update to your liking.. : )) Not all pink suites but some ideas you could incorporate into your scheme.. Swapping the white cabinet and glass table has worked well. I think french chairs looked better in the window but angle them towards each other slightly to make look a little less formal. That still leaves an empty space in the middle of the room tho. Hope you don't mind but I've had a little play with one of your pictures just for some inspiration. I've added a floor lamp instead of table lamp, statement armchair, footstool/ottoman, and a mirror/ art above the white cabinet. One is more modern and the other continues the french theme.
