loft conversion - mezzanine style

There’s a massive unused loft in the master bedroom of our newly purchased home. We are thinking of loft conversion and creating a mezzanine style bedroom space so we can use the lower floor as chill out space with bathroom and loft as bedroom? We can’t put any windows in the loft because of Our council (there can be no exterior changes) so we will have to consider putting glass windows which will ensure that light comes from the lower floor space (currently master bedroom). Can you share your mezzanine loft conversions for inspirations pls? Thanks
