houssaon I sat with a piece of it on my floor this morning and I screamed to myself 'what am I doing , Ive got rid of an axminster for this ! ' so I went to the shop and have found a neutral brown carpet 80% wool which suits a large rug I have and should bring out the colours in my new suite , I am glad I took the rug with me because the small chair is a near match to the suite, and the rug/ chair look nice together . I was tired and stressed late last night having taken up my old carpet last night in 1 piece in case I ever thought about putting it back ! everything now happens Thursdaywhen the carpet is fit and the dining suite and lounge suite is installed Ill upload. youve asked about my style ? Im going for the stressed look ! no I want a classy look but also minimalistic due to it not being a big through lounge thanks for your comments to date ps anyone want an axminster !

there is just the two of us, we would use the space to watch tv, eat and read, obviously the kitchen to cook, we love to cook and like to spend time together. Off the existing lounge is a conservatory where we spend most of our time as we like the airy feel it offers. There is a window in the back wall along from the patio doors and at the front for the kitchen. Thank you

Hi Mary Choosing floor tiles can be quite daunting as there are so many styles to choose from these days. Here are a few things you might like to consider. Size- go for as large as possible, this will help make a smaller space look bigger. What are your floor dimensions? Style- What style are your units and also the rest of your house for that matter? There are tiles which look like stone, concrete, slate, think about which style would suit your house best. Colour- there are some good grey/taupe options around which would work very well with gloss white units. Work tops - have you chosen them and if so what colour are they. Cleaning - if you have a family/animals I would suggest going for something with a slight texture/pattern to it. They won't show the dirt so much. The world is your oyster really. I can only second your choice of Karndean. We went with Classic Oak for our entire ground floor and we're really pleased with it. One of the reasons we chose it was so that we could have a seamless floor throughout with no threshold bars. We have underfloor heating, but even in the summer when that is turned off, the floor does not feel cold underfoot.
