I much prefer the 2nd. I’m not that keen on the wall tiles though and don’t think they really work with the floor? Love the pendant lights too but would consider whether you can see in the mirror (i have this issue in my bathroom!)
Thanks for your feedback! I really like the second one too but can't pinpoint why, plus I'm worried if it will look the same if i don't get the right tiles/vanity. It seems a but more difficult to achieve as we've got some similar shade textured tiles for a feature wall. I hope it won't be too much going on...
I love the warmth of the wood vanity with the 2nd design. Although marble is a design classic i just think the 2nd may possibly have more longevity as there’s nothing to go off of?
I really like your feature tiles but they’re pretty on trend, where are they going? i’d just consider if they can easily be changed when trends/taste change. I only say that as my kitchen tiles make quite a statement but they're restricted to around the oven and were relatively cheap
I prefer the 2nd two. It feels warmer & more relaxing with the natural wood. Personally, I wouldn’t want to stay long in the marble one so maybe consider whether it’s just for quick morning showers or relaxing baths? Which one seems more in keeping with the rest of your home?
It's actually the downstairs bathroom and will be used during the day by all the family plus any guests. I think because this is the bathroom guests will see i thought the 1st option has more of a wow factor whereas 2nd has a more relaxed vibe to it although the 2nd one is more in keeping with the house as we have light grey matt tiles through all the ground floor and grey and black open plan kitchen.
The second is definitely warmer and cosier if that fits in with the general feel of your home. I like the clean lines of the first one but it's just too severe with all the tiles. I would just tile the shower and floor then paint the remaining walls for a more restful feel.
