Would appreciate some help with layout of by bedroom and en suite. At the moment the bedroom door opens in such a way that there is a tricky pinch point between open door, bed and side table. See pic. We're currently planning to refit the en suite so think it could be ideal timing to correct the door issue.
Changing it to open against the wall could be an answer, but would mean re routing the light switch which is currently on the left as you walk in to the bedroom. This would also mess with the symmetry from the landing.
I'm considering switching the en suite door to the other end - but then it would open to cover the window, tried to show this in the pic. (The arrow is moving the dresser to the newly made wall, where the door way currently is). I do not want to change the built in wardrobes and bed placement.
Also contemplating a pocket sliding door. For bedroom and/or bathroom
The pic shows how to bathroom currently is - new en suite will have a shower, no bath and will switch that with the basin location.
Very much open to ideas!
