How do I tie together these bedroom items?
Comments (7)Hi. What colour are your ŵalls? I might go a chalky white with the shelves the same colour. Can your fire surround be painted? If so, would you consider orange? If not an orange mirror over the top or buy one you can paint. For the bed I'd add a grey'ish sheepskin throw, a couple of cushions in the bed colour, one with texture and one which you can add some buttons to, plus a geometric cushion in a larger or smaller scale than the bedlinen with some orange in. If you have room I'd add little shelves either side of the bed and add orange anglepoise lights. If not, then add one on the chest of drawers ( but I might paint that then). Over the bed 3 scandi style prints. I've found this one. The other 2 I'd keep fairly neutral rather than more orange https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/65129921/eames-poster-mid-century-poster-nursery?ref=market...See MoreHelp pulling a bedroom together!
Comments (7)Hi! Looks good so far - I would think about maybe making the wall behind the bed a feature wall to tie the room together a bit, perhaps with a bold wallpaper like this: Otherwise, maybe some bolder dressing cushions to sit on the bed would bring it to life a bit? They don't even have to be bright colours, just something like this: And maybe consider putting something above the bed on the wall if you don't want to delve into the world of wallpaper/feature wall. Hope this helps and good luck! MWAI...See MoreHelp me bring this all together. Rugs/throws/cushions
Comments (9)Okay, I´ve quickly tried some things out or you, that you may or may not like. But just to give you a visual and hopefully some ideas. I think that as long as you get the colours coming back, maybe in different strengths, it´ll all work together. The photo that you like is the Decorating Design Ideas one, I think? If you look closely, you'll see that black & white graphic patterns return, yellow, pink and turquoise too. And the wood and leather and gold are all warm tones that are close together.. Top it all off with plants and voila, you have your eclectic room ;-) I think the rug brings it all together...See MorePlease help me pull this together!!
Comments (9)Hi Dela, I had a quick look on Etsy and the amount of art they have for sale runs into the thousands (Quantity not price!). I searched Teal seascapes and loads came up. I took screen shots of these few, but do have a look as art is such a personal thing. I’ve bought several bits and bobs on there and they are very reliable, although I always pay via PayPal, just in case!...See MoreKate
