I would suggest either a back painted glass or a large print glued onto the wall (like wallpaper) and glass on top
The attached photo shows one of our previous projects where we have printed a high resolution photo on canvas, stacked on the wall then glass on top

this is a gorgeous kitchen! I think a neutral splashback would be really nice and add an extra element to the kitchen. I would go with a natural stone effect or something similar to to keep the natural vibe you have!

My kitchen designer also suggested a bold print, like jungle greens but I'm not sure I'm brave enough for that option! I also don't want to choose something I'll get tired of or go off. I'd rather go for something simple and timeless.

I would add one to add more colour. Glass is always serviceable and easy to clean. You can ask your supplier for any RAL or BS colour.

Well I love the look you have right now.  So personally would chose a natural stone or tile very similar to current wall colour.  As your wood units are such a gorgeous rich tone I thibk adding anything mid to dark would detract from these.

On another note can I ask about your crittall style internal doors please? Are these actually metal? Can I enquire about supplier you used/cost as it is the exact look I am planning for our house. Thanks.

Hi Ruth House, they are actually LPD black soho 4 panel doors. Sourced through Jewson. I think they came in at around £200 each. They aren't metal, they are wood.

If you look direct on the LPD website you will see what is available. You cannot buy direct from them but it will give you an insight into what they offer through merchants.

The black ones come pre finished but I've just left them as is. I bought paint that matched the RAL number and any scuffs during fitting I just touched up with that. Just be aware that you can only buy their latches. Nothing else fits. It's the manhattan magnetic latch. They are nice but my joiner said they were the only ones due to the size of the door frame.
