This is an old picture from when we first did the kitchen, we added a stainless steel splash back just behind the cooker (and shelves to the left)
12 years later I'm sick of cleaning it and it never actually looking clean!! also the lack of splashback on the rest of the wall is an issue!
So i would like to add splash back/ tiles along the entire wall.
How far up would you take the tiles though? Confusing since I don't have fitted units on the walls.
And would large format tiles look OK? I'm not a fan of the metro style that are fashionable at the mo and don't have budget for quartz etc.
I intend to paint the walls a softer green and add a plate rack to the left.
