All down to personal preference but I would be tempted to steer clear of the Calacatta worktop on the right because it is so simimlar to the flooring. You need a bit of a contrast.

I agree with Daisy- don’t choose a near mismatch with the floor- choose something that looks different.

Separately make sure you have considered the tone of white. Be careful to consider the colour of the cabinets and floor- if one is more cream or more white it will stand out

We usually steer clients clear of darker worktops, but in this particular instance it feels like you need something to ground and punctuate the space a little. Keeping everything too light could leave it feeling a little bland. You don't need to go too dark, but just enough to add a bit of contrast. It will make all of your other beautiful choices 'pop'. Quartz is a great choice, but another one that we really like is Corian. It comes in a huge range of colours and also a softer soapy finish which looks like natural stone. The great advantage of Corian is that you can get it with no joins, so it instantly looks more expensive than it actually is.

Thanks, been wondering the same actually! The only problem was that I planned to extend the worktop onto the splashback and sink area which could again make it too dark I guess?

I wouldn't worry too much about that, go for a mid tone colour that works with what you have, looking at the photos, something that falls into the greish family, so a few shades darker than your units. As long as you add in under counter lighting, it shouldn't look too dark. We would also suggest going with warm lighting to avoid it looking like a dentist surgery.
