You may be able to get this made to order from a window and door company. You can have cat / dog flaps fitted in glass, it doesn't have to be wood. We have one for our dogs, you order the flap, give it to the door company and they order it with the hole needed for the flap, which you then fit. I can't see why they couldn't put an openable window in it. If you're set on wood, then i'd just get a carpenter to make a window to fit the door and then re-glaze the portion underneath. I once put a stained glass window in a front door, if it's wood it's a lot easier to make all sorts.

Hi. Do you need to access it from the outside? We have done many tilt and turn windows in this type of situation. So you can put it into tilt function for the ventilation needs, but you can open it up fully for access etc. You just can't open from the outside.

Will definitely be doing something with the patio but he have a huge garden and have just built a full summer house and deck up the top end, so need to decide what to do with this bit closest to the house too. We are currently getting it also re-fenced, rotivated and seeded for grass. So the money is fast running out!!! Need to work out how to use the two different areas!!!
