Comments (5)I saw Ikea's Besta TV stuff. Looked perfect for the job, with grey glass panels that can be illuminated from behind. But, they come in 1200mm panels, our run is 3m, so wouldn't work. Comments (7)Is this the upstand for the whole of the worksurface or a splashback behind a sink or hob? If it's the Upstand then i'd match the worktop. For the splashback, then match the type of surface to that of the worktop, ie, if it's gloss stay with gloss, if matt stay with matt. Comments (8)Hi, What sort of look are you after? And what colour is the worktop? I'm not a big fan of tiles in the kitchen ever since we installed a splashback which is ever so easy to clean and you have no worry about grout lines. I'd consider a neutral coloured splashback, maybe a greige? or a antique, distressed effect mirror splashback to bounce light....See Morekitchen backsplash and tiling help and inspiration
Comments (2)Are you saying the glass splashback is the wrong size because it doesn’t go all the way up to the extractor fan? If so I’d guess that they’ve installed a standard size as opposed to a purpose made size. If so l would just take that one down and get a taller one made.
