Cracks found - structural?

Hi, we recently moved into a do-er upper and have removed a built in wardrobe to find a wall of cracks as seen in the pic. Is this normal crackingt that simply hasn’t been attended to over the years?! Or should I appoint an engineer to investigate?

    I bet it’s not structural. I would imagine is either heat from a chimney or overdue decorating

    I agree with the previous comments, unless you live in Iceland, in that case I’d run out!
